Power Converter Topologies for Grid-Tied Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Powered Electric Vehicles (EVs)—A Comprehensive Review

چکیده

The transport sector generates a considerable amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions worldwide, especially road transport, which accounts for 95% the total GHGs. It is commonly known that Electric vehicles (EVs) can significantly reduce GHG emissions. However, with fossil-fuel-based power generation system, EVs produce more GHGs and therefore cannot be regarded as purely environmentally friendly. As result, renewable energy sources (RES) such photovoltaic (PV) integrated into EV charging infrastructure to improve sustainability transportation system. This paper reviews state-of-the-art literature on electronics converter systems, interface utility grid, PV EVs. Comparisons are made in terms their topologies, isolation, voltage ranges, efficiency, bi-directional capability V2G operation. Specific attention devoted bidirectional isolated non-isolated EV-interfaced converters non-integrated architectures. A brief description charger types, levels, standards provided. anticipated studies comparisons this would advantageous an all-in-one source information researchers seeking related infrastructures.
